With Leo and River

"What why did my crest glow? I don't deserve it, I almost just killed Leo." River said to himself.

"Why is he still my friend, why did he ever befriend be?" River asked himself, and even though he couldn't answer himself, he did remember something that had happened when they all were on their way to find Kris in the Dark Terminal.

River's Flashback

"Your a Noble! You arent like us!" Kouji shouted, she was sitting on the ground. They had all stopped and were arguing.

Kouji, Leo and River were walking slower then the others, so they were behind a bit. Kouji was tired of River tagging along with them, especially since they were going to save Kris from the Nobles castle. River could tip them of at any second.

"Kouji! Stop it! Cant you see he doesnt want to be one of them" Leo shouted back at his sister.

"Leo, stop it. Its fine, Ill go back." River muttered.

"NO! You dont have to go back to them!" leo pleaded.

"Why should you care?" River asked sadly.

"B-Because..... Im your friend....." leo whispered.

End of River's flashback

'I really do like Leo, but if I tell him that, then if my dad ever does find me and get me back, then he would be killed. Why does stuff like this always happen to me, I finally make a new friend and maybe even more then just one, and again my father or well thoughts of my father wreck it.' River thought to himself.

'Not that it even matters, he probably hates me know that I just ran off. I swear if my dad doesn't wreck my friendships me rememebering him and what he does wrecks them.' He thought again.

River then got the weird feeling that someone was watching him, and he knew who it was, Damien.

'Crap I got to go find Leo, I hope Damien didn't already get to him.' River thought to himself as he ran back the way he had come.

With Leo at same time as River's flashback and such

After River had ran off Leo was very sad, not only did he just blurt out that he really liked River and River flip out, but he might have lost his friend. Leo then slowly walked back to the camp wit his head down. As soon as he walked back into the camp he was slammed into a tree. Since he had hit his head on it his vision became slightly blury, but he could make out Damien holding an object to his head.

"I would be very quiet magot or I could accidently loss my grip on the trigger and a bullet could just happen to go through your head." Damien hissed into Leo's ear and it sent a shiver down his spine.

"That's a good little magot, you follow orders very well, now if you weren't a tamer then a wouldn't have to kill you." Damien chuckled evily.

With River

River had been running back to the camp hoping he Damien wasn't there already. But when he got back to the camp he saw Leo pinned to a tree and Damien pointing a gun at his head.

'I'll have to turn invisible, because if I don't Damien will just see me and shot Leo.' River thought as he became invisible and carfully walked over to where Leo was being pinned by Damien.

When he got close enough to Damien he grap his hand that had the gun and pulled it away from Leo's head. Him and Damien started to wrestle, River was still invisible but was getting weak from using it so long, Damien took his chance when he saw River weaken and pull the trigger of the gun. BANG the bullet hit River in the side, he became visible and started to black out. He did see Damien standing in front of him and point the gun at him, but a shot never came. River saw Leo styanding in front of him and scream leave him alone, he knew that Damien wouldn't hasitate to kill Leo and him, but before Damien could do anything there was a bright flash of light and when it died down Lro and River weren't there. They were in the forest about ten miles from Wizardmon's castle.

"Shouldn't we have gone back to Wizardmon's castle not here?" Leo questioned, but then remembered River was hurt and turned to look at him.

He saw River laying there with his hand over the wound probably trying to stop the bleeding even though it wasn't doing much good since he had blacked out.

"Oh crap if I don't do something he'll bleed to death. Where's Ace when you need him, I don't know what to do." Leo told himself, "OK first I'm going to stop talking to myself then I'm going to have to get the bullet out, clean it, and bandage it."

Leo then got to work he carfully took the bullet out, cleaned it up, and bandaged it up. Now all he could do was wait, its not like he could go back to the castle, he couldn't get River there by himself and he wasn't going to leave him there.

With kris and Kouji

Kouji had collapsed onto Kris's chest crying. Kris was kind of suprised, but wrapped her arms around Kouji anyways.

After a few minutes of Kouji's sobbing she gently pushed herself off Kris. "S-sorry...." She muttered, wipping thje tears of her cheeks. She was kneeling on the ground with her head down.

"Its... Alright." Kris said. "Do you want to tell me what happened?"

Kouji didnt say anything, but she shrugged her shoulders.

"I'll listen. Its better if you tell someone these kinds of things anyways. Maybe it'll help you get better if you talk about it?" Kris said, crossing her legs infront of her, getting ready to listen to Kouji's story.

"I guess so..." Kouji answered quietly. "Me, Leo and Kenzy used to live with our real family when we were little. We lived out in the country, and we had a huge backyard."

Kris nodded every now and then, to show she was still listening.

"There werent that many kids around. Maybe three or four that lived close enough to us. Me and Kenzy were about 7, and Leo was 4. I had this one friend, her name was Tora. We hung out every day. Our father didnt like Kenzy and I very much. He never let us do anything, so Id have to sneak out to visit Tora."

"Our mother was very sick and had passed away a year before. She loved all of us, but our father only loved leo. He hated girls, once Mom passed away he became rougher with us. It got to the point where he would beat us. He even pulled Kenzy and I out of school so he could hit us more. He spoiled leo though."

"He got him everything. He never got us anything, and he barely fed us. It got to the point where Id have to steal food for Kenzy and I. One day, Tora was over because I snuck her in and Father wasnt home. He came home as she was leaving, and threatened to kill me."

"I got Tora out from our back fence, and told her that id be back for her..... He ended up grabbing me, and nearly beat me to death. Kenzy too. I dont quite know what happened, but The police showed up at our house about an hour later and we got put into a foster family. We were in two other ones before we got to the one we are in now." Kouji explained, she had tears in her eyes again.

"Wow..... Im sorry to hear that. But, you could always got back and visit her?" Kris suggested.

"No, they moved, besides, Its no where near here. Our old house was on the other side of the city, plus on the outskirts of it." Kouji said sadly.

"Well, dont worry, you'll eventually see her again. But, you have lots of other friends now." Kris said, standing and stretching her legs.

"You dont understand..... She wasnt just my friend......" Kouji muttered.

"Huh? What do you mean?" Kris asked.

"I know we may have seemed a little young..... But......" Kouji started, crying again, "I loved her, and... she loved me....."

With Lex and Kenzy

Lex and Kenzy were walking around the village hand in hand, and for some reason that Kenzy couldn't figure out Lex looked deep in thought.

"Lex, is something wrong or something?" Kenzy asked as she looked at Lex.

Lex shook his head no, "Just thinking about my family and stuff like that."

"Like what?"

"When I was passed out, I felt somewhat dead, I couldn't move, I hurt and it was difficult to breath. The whole time all I could think was will I ever see you or anybody else? And was this how my brother, sister, and friends felt like?"

"I'm sorry, and I don't think any of them would want you to feel that way."

"I know, it's just I actually found someone that I can love and I don't want to loss that feeling again. I lost all my friends and I feel like there had to be something I could've done to help them."

"Lex, no matter how bad things get, they were all meant to happen. You can just change something in the past and not have the future be messed up."

"I know and it's not want to loss you or anything close to that, I just can't stop thinking about my friend that died because of me."

"How could you have caused a death?"

"When I was about 12 I had a friend, Axel, he was also a tamer his digimon was a Veemon. We were in the woods one day and we saw nobles so we ran. Since he was 16 he had been a friend of my older brother, he thought he had to protect me, so he hid me in the roots of a tree. I saw the nobles kill him and Veemon, and I was to afraid to do anything."

"You didn't cause that, it was the nobles, and even if you would had gotten out of hiding, it just would of made his death worthless. He saved you in order to protect you, he knew what was going to happen and he did it anyway."

All Lex could do was nod his head, he knew she was right, but he still just couldn't help wishing there could've been a way. Then All of a sudden he felt Kenzy pull his face so he was looking at her, "You're still thinking about it."

Before Lex could say a thing Kenzy kissed him, "There now are you thinking about?" Lex shook his head no, "good"

"Thanks, Kenzy."

"For what Lex?"

"For being there for me."

"No thank you for trusting me and being sincere with me, and I'm glad you decided to tell me about your past."

Then Lex's crest glew and there was a bright light, and where they once stood was nothing but thin air.

In the Nobles castle

"Neko that traitor, and the blind kid have been destoried."

"Exellent Alighta. I have no clue where those four that got the crests to glow went. They went off the scanner a while ago. The two girls are still where the were before." Damien said with a smirk on his face.

He had finally won one of the battles against them. "Alighta,"

"Yes Day?" The pink haired girl answered.

"I want you to train using your spirits. Both of them. You need to pratice with the B spirit so it doesnt take over when you evolve." Damien ordered.

Damien continued, "Neko uses only his beast spirit. The other humans have H level ones only. River has both, but he doesnt have his d-scan. Neko may have it though."

Damien and Alighta where in a sort of camera room of the Castle. There where a few tv screens around and two of them where static, they were the screens that Leo, River, Lex and Kenzy where on. A few were of the Castle hall and rooms. One showed a pile of rubble, formerly Ace and Neko's screen. Another screen showed Kris, Kouji and Aki. And lastly a few of the screens where of the grounds around the castle.

With Ace and Neko

Ace's point of view

'The cave just collapsed, and I have no idea where Neko is, this is just great. What am I supposed to do? There isn't anything I can do, I can't see anything or feel the vibrations, because of all the snow from the storm.' I thought to myself, 'Although the snow did come in handy with keeping the boulders from rolling over us.'

"Well this is going to be hard to get of, huh Ace?" Neko asked me.

"Yea it is."

"Well at least we're ok, I think we should walk to the back of the cave and see if we can find an opening anywhere. Here I'll help you up."

Neko then walked over to me, but as soon as he went to pull me up, I realized, that because I was so close to the enterance, some of the boulders had landed on my feet and were up to about my knees. So, when he tryed to pull me up I yelped like a fox would, because there was a sudden pain in my left ankle.

"Ah, what did I do? Did I hurt you? I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Do you fogive me?" Neko most have tought he hurt me.

"It's ok, you didn't do anything, I must have been to close to the enterance when it collapsed, some of the rocks are on my ankles."

"Oh ok, well you stay here and I'll try to find a different way out, I don't want to move them and have more fall on you."

"OK" Neko then walked off.

'Great now I'm alone, I can't move, plus I can't see. Just prefect, how am I supposed to get out of this mess. I don't see why I have the crest of hope, because I don't have any of that right now.'

I then started to think back, on all the times, I thought it would never get better. But Kris and Lex were always there and we protected each other.

'We were and still are each others protection and in a way each others hope.'

As soon as I said well thought that my crest started to glow, and I disappeared along wit Neko wo was just walking back over to me.

With Leo and River

Leo had just bandaged up, and taken care of River's wound. He was know kneeling on the ground next to River's body, and every now and then checking to make sure River was still alive.

All of a sudden Leo was blinded by a bright light. "Leo!" He heard.

When the light died down, he could see Lex and kenzy standing there. He ran over to kenzy and jumped in her arms, "Kenzy! I missed you so much!" He shouted.

"You guys got you crests to gl-" Lex started, but then saw River's body, "Oh, my, god, is he okay?" Lex asked with worry.

Leo let go over his sister and went back to sitting beside River. "Damien got us.... I dont know if he will be okay...." Leo replied sadly.

Kenzy kneeled beside her brother, "Dont worry, we'll head back to the castle and-"

Kenzy was cut off by a bright light, just like the one Leo had been blinded by. When it dyed down, they could see Ace and Neko, but Ace was on the ground, not standing.

"Ace!" Lex shouted, running over to his brother.

"Im... Alright." Ace stammered, ignoring the pain in his ankle. Neko walked over to Ace and picked him up, bridal style, and moved him in the shade, and put him down. "The cave we were in collapsed, his leg was caught under the boulders."

"Why are we all here?" Lex asked.

"We all got are Crests to glow right? That must be why we're here." Ace said. Leo started to tend to his ankle, and other wounds, like he had done to River.

Neko had taken Leo's spot by River side. He was worried about his friend. "River...."

"Where is my sister, and Kris?" Kenzy asked, sitting beside Lex, taking his hand in hers.

"Well...... Maybe they havent gotten their crests to glow yet...." Leo suggested.

He was done with Ace's leg and went over to Neko's side. The rest of the gang started talking about what happened on their mini adventures.

"He'll be okay... I promise." Leo said, placing a hand on Neko's shoulder. "Here, let me take care of your cuts and stuff." Neko nodded. Leo cleaned the cuts he had, and hjad to bandage a few. "There all better." He said with a smile.

"How come you are acting to nice to me?" Neko asked Leo.

"Your one of us arent you? There is no reason for me not to be nice." Leo said, "Besides.... You seem oddly familliar to me."

With Kris and Kouji

"I know we may have seemed a little young..... But......" Kouji started, crying again, "I loved her, and... she loved me....." Kouji stated shakily, because she had started to cry again. Aki who hadn't said a single word or made a sound, walked over to Kouji and sat on her lap trying to calm Kouji down.

"Oh please don't cry anymore, Kouji." Aki said.

"It's not like she's dead or something, and I'll tell you what as soon as we get out of the digital world, I'll help you locate Tora." Kris said.

"O....K...." Kouji studered, "But I have one more thing you have to do for me. Since I basically told you my life story, you have to tell me yours."

"Damn, I knew you were going to say someting about that, I was hoping you wouldn't, but it's only fair." Kris stated and Koji slighly nodded in agreement.
"Well let's see, my mother was killed by Nobles and I found er in our backyard pool and the water looked like blood, as to why I hate water. When the Nobles killed her they also kidnapped my little sister, Natlie, who was only two and a half at the time. She wouldn't give them any information about me, Jay, Alighta, Lex, or Ace, so they killed her. I had made her a necklace before she died, that when she needed me she could start a telepatic link to me, but she didn't know how to control it, so when they killed her I had to listen. Our Father thought we were evil, because we had powers, so he beat us me and Jay would always get in the way and protect Alight, Lex, and Ace. One time when Jay was at work and Alighta was somewhere shopping, Father came home really drunk, he ended up hitting Ace with a beer bottel, making Ace blind. Lex had gotten Jay, who ened up killing Father, we all went from crappy foster home to crappy foster home, until we finally ran away. Alighta had ran away to be with the Nobles about a year after Father died, Jay and I went to get her back, Jay got killed. After Jay died, his friend, Axel watched over us and stuff, he died when me and Lex were 12, he was 16, Axel and Lex were in the forest, nobles sowed up, in order to keep Lex safe, Axel hid him but didn't have time to hind himsel, the Nobles killed him. Lex and I were 7 and Ace was 4 when we met Chase and Hana beore the Jay and Alighta stuff happened, Father was still alive, he came attacked us, well Ace, I protected Ace, go hurt, Chase helped me. Chase was kidnapped and killed because of the experiments they put him through his sister was also killed that day, becase she fell in the lake when the ice broke."

All Kouji could do was blink, "How do I know you didnt make that all up, just to make me feel like I'm not alone."

"Well 1)You'll just ave to turst me I guess, 2)You can ask Lex or Ace if you want to, 3)Here's a bandana that was Chase's," shows Koji Chase's bandana, which had is name stiched into it, "and 4)I don't lie about the dead or about someone other than my siblings that I loved."

"Oh o....wait what about the loved."

"Figures you would ask about that too, and you better not talk about this to anyone, because I don't anybody to know. Right before Chase died, we said we loved each other, I knew I liked him before that and he like me too, but neither of us had the guts to say it until one of us was out of time. That's why I said I would help you, because neither of you are dieing, that I know of, so you need to spend that time wisely, plus I'm your friend, its what we do."

"Yeah, I guess you are my friend. Thanks for letting me rely on you, I think that's what I need."

Before either one of them could say anything Aki growled at the glowing come from Kris and Kouji's shirts, where their crests were. Kris, Kouji, and Aki then disappeared.

With Leo and The gang

Neko sighed, Leo's reason for being nice to him made hime feel weird. Its like he just trusted him out of the blue. "How can you trust people that easily?" He asked Leo.

"Well," Leo started, but was cut off by yet another flash of light. When the light died down Leo gasped. Kris, Kouji and Aki were all where the light had been.

"KOUJI!" Leo shouted, running and tackling his sister into a hug, knocking them to the ground. Kenzy ran to their sides, and hugged them both.

Kris' facial expression went to worry as she saw Ace, and how his leg was bandaged. She went over to him and the two spoke quietly to each other. Lex went over and place a hand on Kris' shoulder. She quickly turned around and Lex flashed her a warm smile. "Im glad you guys made it back safe."

"Now that we're all together again, do we get to go back to the castle and see our digimon?" Kenzy asked.

"Well..." Lex started, pulling out his D-scan and checking the map. "The castle actually isnt all that far off, maybe a fourty-five minute walk."

"But what about Ace and River?" Leo asked. "Ace cant walk on his leg, and River is still out cold..."

"Some one can piggy-back Ace, he's not that heavy." Kris said, "Im not sure about River though."

"Me and Neko can take him!" Leo suggested.

So it was settled, Leo and Neko each had one of River's arms around their necks, and were carrying him like that. Lex was piggy-backing Ace.

Aki was on top of Kouji's head. He was oddly quiet. He was worried about Kouji, and what had happened only moments ago. His thoughts were broken when he felt a hand reach up and scratch behind his ear. "Whats up Aki?" Kouji asked.

"Not much.... Just thinking." He said, flashing her a smile to show he really was okay.

It was going to take the group a little longer then the estimated fourty-five minutes because they were slower because of Ace and River.

With the nobles

Damien was pacing back and forth asking to himself, "How could they all get their stupid crests to glow?"

"Well like they were like determined to like get them to like glow, so like they could like get back to like each other. It's like sweet, in a like sickening like way." Aligta said, bt only got a glare from Damien.

"Have Bakemon get ready for them, they'll be heading to the castle. If they figure out it's not Wizardmon have him kill them."

"Like OK, Day."

"Oh and Alight."

"Yes?"

"STOP CALLING ME THAT!!"

With the Tamers

Everyone had been walking for about twenty minutes, Lex was looking a bit tired, so Kris told him to give Ace to her.

"Are you sure Kris?"

"Yes, I'm sure, now be quiet I think squirt here is a sleep."

But as Lex carefully put Ace on Kris back, he noticed the gash on Kris's arm that went to her wrist to elbow.

"Kris, what happened to your arm? And don't lie and say it's nothing."

"I wasn't planing on lieing and saying it's nothing, because I know it isn't nothing, but I have had worse. Kouji, Aki, and I were sent to the wasteland, no lunar, shadows, or darkness, means I can't heal. Which we should know by now that when I can't heal it after a day, it as to heal normally. Basically me and Kouji got in a fight, I ran off and got attacked my Puppetmon and LadyDevimon, Kouji and Aki had ran after me I guess. Because Kouji grabbed me and ran, Puppetmon and LadyDevimon's attacks hit each others, and I don't know what happened to them, but we got out of range before there was a small expulsion."

"Oh OK. Wait, why would Wizardmon send you and Kouji to the wasteland, that could have gotten you two killed?"

"I don't know why he did. But I do have a feeling that it wasn't Wizardmon, and that the Nobles are up to something."

"Like what?"

"I don't know, but I do intend to figure it out."

[Teekay]

"Im assuming everyone learned a little more about each other because of this?" Kenzy asked, trying to start a conversation. She was holding Lex's hand.

"I guess so..." Leo said quietly.

"Yeah..." Kouji sighed. Aki was sleeping on her head.

Neko nodded.

"Well," Kenzy started, hyper as usual, "What did everyone learn?" She asked.

Neko looked at her with a cautious look. Leo just sighed. Kouji shrugged, and Lex smiled. Kris didnt do anything.

"Fine, no one talk then!" Kenzy said, pouting.

"What did we need to get the crests for anyways? And why were we all put somewhere where we couldnt really fight back?" Kouji asked.

"I dont think Wizardmon would do that...." Kris said quietly. ".... Something seemed wrong when he said we couldnt bring our digimon."

"Kris is right, we should be on our gaurd for anything out of the ordinary." Lex said, seriously.

All of a sudden the gang heard a rustling sound comming from the bushes. They all turned and looked where the noise was comming from. The bushes were pushed aside and Wizardmon walked out, "Hello children."

"Wizardmon!?" Leo gasped.

Wizardmon walked toward the group. "Yes, I heard that you were on your way and I came to greet you."

"Well, River and Ace are both hurt, we need to get to the castle so you can help them." Kenzy said.

Wizardmon nodded and started to walk. The gang started to follow him. They were going to the castle. Kris tugged on Kouji's shirt and pulled her back. "That's not Wizardmon." She whispered.

"I know." Kouji whispered back. "Stay calm and act like you dont suspect anything."

They all walked in silence to the castle. Little did they know that Damien had been watching them, waiting for them to get there.

With Damien and Alighta

"Yes, they are falling for it!" Damien shouted. He was sitting on a throne like chair, watching the kids on screens.

"Soon they will all be destoried!" He shouted.
